Print is not dead: quite the opposite. In fact, in the digital age, print and physical media is thriving in the form of magazines, books, zines and everything in between. Our own One&Other magazine is a proponent of our love of print: the smell, the feel, the style of it: no wonder it has a growing wealth of passionate supporters and creators.
Print Stuff is a celebration of independent printed matter: their inaugural event will take place in York’s historic De Grey Rooms, bringing together creatives from the fields of illustration, photography, printmaking, textiles and artist books.
The event takes place on 1 April 2017 at De Grey Rooms, St. Leonards Place, York, YO1 7HD. The organisers are looking for applications from individuals and businesses who are interested in displaying, selling and discussing their printwork.
A terrific chance to dive into the colourful and fantastic-smelling world of print. (I know we’re going on about smell but seriously, the first thing anyone does when they get hold of our magazine is give it a good long smell.)
Applications are now open until 7pm, 2 December 2016. Apply now and bring more print to this digital world.PRINT STUFF
