Shooting into Summer with a bang, the ever inspirational Ingenues have an exciting new venture and it promises to be a corker. Isla Macneil, founder of the popular and ‘not your average’ educational activity boxes and workshops for kids is super excited to announce that you can now book onto the first ever Ingenues Holiday Camp. Whether you book the whole week at a reduced rate or come along for individual themed days, this is a holiday camp not to miss out on! Working alongside faciliators Miss Trout, Georgie Fishkin and Richard Johnston, The Ingenues Holiday Camp is the perfect way to entertain your aspiring children with bags of fun!
Each day will run from 8.30am to 5.30pm to help fit around your work day and will have activities suitable for children aged 4-11 that include science experiments, movement and drama and art. We will be based in the Light Studio of the Railway Institute each day. £30 A day, £120 for the week and 10% sibling discount when booking on the same day. Running from Monday 23rd - Friday 27th July.
Monday is Pilot Day
Come along for everything the budding pilot needs to know. We will be learning about how planes fly, map reading, paper plane making and aerodynamics as well as movement and story writing activities to help plan our adventures.
Tuesday is Engineering Day
Join us on Tuesday to learn all about civil engineering. These activities have been designed for use with the Institution of Civil Engineers to help celebrate their 200th anniversary. We will be designing bridges, building models, learning how to do scaled drawing, learning about forces using movement before using all of our new knowledge to try and build the longest and strongest bridges we can.
Wednesday is Explorer Day
On Wednesday we will be on the hunt for new lands and learning key skills for any explorer including foraging and water purification and making bug hotels, as well as craft and drama activities about our discoveries.
Thursday is Palaeontology Day
Come along on Thursday for a day of fossils, dinosaurs and excavation. We will be learning, making, playing, digging, excavating and roaring our way through the day as we uncover our finds.
Friday is Astronaut Day
Get ready for blast off on Friday as we are heading to Space. We will be learning about rockets and how they work, making balloon rockets, eating space food and discovering new worlds. Are you ready for lift off?
